Its mouth looks like a duck’s beak
From the Esocidae family, pike is considered to be one of the big freshwater carnivores in western Europe. With 700 teeth when they reach maturity, they hunt out any prey likely to enter their enormous mouth which looks like a duck’s beak. They are rather solitary, rejecting any other pike that enter their territory. Their lifespans very: females live up to 30 years, whereas males only live up to the age of about 14.
