A large, almost exclusively aquatic, newt
Originally from calm waters in Spain, Portugal and northern Morocco, newts are amphibians. This large newt, almost exclusively aquatic, thrives in temperatures of 15°C to 25°C. It eats worms, insects and any other prey that fits in its mouth. The have been regularly studied by scientists in space, particularly for their capacity to reproduce without gravity.
